My name is Heather Feldstein, and as a mother, I was struggling to find good quality children’s books, outside of the classics that I knew from my childhood. That’s not to say that there aren’t modern quality kids’ books out there. On the contrary, in fact!! There are so many talented authors and illustrators today, who are producing such wonderful and beautiful stories. With all the books out there on today’s bookshelves, it’s hard to decide what books will touch you and your child, and which ones won’t. Which books will enrich your story reading, and which ones will not. If you’re anything like me, when you take your kids to the bookstore, you’re too busy keeping them in your sight, that you really can’t focus on finding a really great book that would be perfect for your kids. This website is designed with that, and you in mind. Here, you’re welcome to visit anytime and acquaint yourself with some modern children’s books.

On this site, you won’t find the popular, well known picture books. We all love the FANCY NANCY series and I encourage all little girls to add it to their personal library, but you already know about these books. While the PINKALICIOUS series is wonderful and fun, your kids will likely have heard of it and asked for it, and you therefore know about these too. We all know and love FRANKLIN and CLIFFORD too. By all means, buy these books!! They’re great, but my goal is to introduce you to some of the quieter masterpieces out there, that may not jump off the bookshelf.

It is my hope that visitors to my site will really get to know the children’s books of today, fall in love with the richness of the characters and the beauty of their stories, and really be a part of creating new classics!
